Old Town Hall, The
The Old Town Hall theatre offers the best of professional drama, music, dance, comedy, children's theatre and the visual arts. Situated in the heart of Hemel Hempstead's picturesque old town, the Old Town Hall has been a performing arts venue since 1978. It is a Grade 2 listed building constructed in 1852.
Over the years the Old Town Hall has hosted performances by Trestle Theatre Company, Paines Plough, English Pocket Opera, Mark Baldwin Dance, The Royal Court, Mark Thomas, Little Angel Theatre Company, Clare Teal, Kompany Malakhi, Quicksilver Theatre Company, Eddie Izzard and Hull Truck Theatre Company to name just a few.

Box Office Opening Times: Monday - Saturday 12pm to 6pm on non-performance evenings and from 12pm to 8pm on performance evenings.
A full range of alcoholic, soft and hot drinks and bar snacks are available. Opening times: 7pm - 11pm on performance evenings only.
There is a small car park at the end of the building and a further car park off the High Street, approximately 500 yards from The Old Town Hall. Free parking after 6:30pm.
We have a lift providing access to all foyer levels, disabled toilets, and four spaces for people with wheelchair in the stalls. To comply with emergency evacuation regulations, we request that a companion accompany wheelchair users. The theatre and box office is fitted with a loop system. Please set your hearing aid to position T. Guide dogs and hearing dogs are welcome. Please advise the box office when you bring your dog. Your dog will be supplied with water. There is limited space for storage of pushchairs, but when practicable we will be happy to hold them in the box office.
