About Lyric Theatre Hammersmith
Billed as "A theatre for the truly theatrical", Lyric Hammersmith now presents the latest in productions for an audience of up to 550 people. Its classical 19th century auditorium is designed for the comfort and intimate relationship between the actors and the viewers of the action.
The Lyric has a program which they call "nights out" which includes four areas of experience for audiences. The Lyric Hammersmith is one of the four areas as are Lyric Studio, Lyric Music, and Lyric Children. They feel that their program appeals to all types of people with varying needs.
The Lyric has programs for learning more about acting on stage as well as singing or dancing. Even some classes are available for prospective directors.
