Old Post Office Yorkshire, The
Our cottage is ideally located between York and Scarborough and within easy reach of the coast of Whitby, It has a log fire for those cooler evenings making it an ideal year round destination. With its own private garden and barbecue it is also perfect for those warmer evenings when dining al-fresco takes your fancy.
But if home cooking is on the menu there is even a dishwasher to take that labourous task of washing the dishes away from you.
You will be welcomed by fresh flowers and a bottle of wine to make your first evening a most relaxing one.
The surrounding countryside is some of the UKs most scenic and is ideal for walkers, cyclists and hikers, the North Yorkshire moors being not far away.
The cottage is in a quiet rural village which sits 1.2miles from the A64 main road between York and Scarborough which gives easy access to all the local market towns. There are two local pubs, excellent butcher, post office and general store together with an award winning fish and chip shop situated in Rillington approximately one mile from the cottage.
