Dalby Forest offers over 8,000 acres of woodland to explore and enjoy, including play areas for children, barbecues for the family and plenty of waymarked trails for all abilities.
Enjoy and explore our Visitor Centre and find out more about Dalby Forest and the surrounding area, learn about sustainable living and have fun with the hands-on interactive displays for a different learning experience.
Tree Tops Restaurant with extensive indoor and outdoor seating offer a wide range of locally sourced snacks and meals for all the family. Dalby Courtyard has craft workshops, a café and cycle centre.
Visitors wanting to burn off energy can hire bikes and use the 55 miles of cycle trails to explore the forest. There is a range of cycle trails from family routes to highly technical demanding routes. For the more extreme cyclists, there is a cycle skills area at Dixon’s Hollow.
If you like your excitement off the ground, try Go Ape’s adventure course, with high ropes and zip wires amongst the trees, Visit www.goape.co.uk.
For a gentle and relaxing stroll within the forest you can use our waymarked trails. Starting from several of the car parks and vary in length, so there’s something for everyone. A number of the paths are all ability being suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. There are of picnic tables that can also accommodate wheelchairs.
For those who like to relax, there’s always a quiet corner to watch the wildlife and take in the fresh air and scenery.

The Visitor Centre is open from 10am - 4.30pm daily. The forest is open at 7.30am until 8.30pm
