Situated in an elevated position, just three miles from Whitby, and twenty-one miles from Scarborough, the small rural village of Sneaton is a well-situated holiday location. The village, composed of pretty stone cottages that line the main street, is also home to an excellent pub offering exceptional local produce in a traditional setting with a welcoming open fire and beamed ceilings. The nearby Beacon Farm produces delicious, homemade ice cream and has a tea-room and farm shop open to visitors. Numerous public footpaths can be found around the village of Sneaton, making it a perfect location for walkers. The Monks Trod - an ancient stone path that monks followed to worship at Whitby Abbey

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
