For over 30 years, the Chase family has been offering a warm welcome and a personal service from their base in the heart of Guildford – convenient for cruising the River Wey, River Thames, Basingstoke Canal (when available) and even the Kennet and Avon Canal. Their experience and skill means you can be sure of well equipped and well maintained boats. If you are a first time boater, you will like the idea of cruising on the River Wey. There are 10 locks for you to operate yourself between Guildford and Weybridge, so by the time you reach the River Thames you will be experienced and confident with the locks. If you don’t wish to take your car, the base is located less than a mile from the Railway station, where taxis are readily available.
