Rumoured to have originated as an Iron Age fort Stow-on-the-Wold later became a market town and is now one of the most popular places to visit in the Cotswolds. There are plenty of shops tea rooms and pubs to keep you busy during your visit one of the pubs The Porch House is supposedly the oldest inn in England. There are lots of opportunities around for walks with footpaths running across much of the area including the famed 102-mile Cotswold Way or you can head for a gentle stroll in one of the many National Trust properties located nearby. Kids will love the Cotswold Wildlife Park and the idyllic Bourton-on-the-Water is just a five-minute drive. Entering the dining room there is a large table to seat up to seven people which leads through to the spacious kitchen area. Well-equipped with everything you could need during your trip it consists of an electric oven and hob washing machine fridge/freezer dishwasher microwave and washing machine and there is also a small breakfast bar with seating. On to the lounge there is comfortable furniture for you to rest your tired feet after a long day of exploring with a TV/DVD for you to watch something you ve missed or a hi-fi to sit and listen to some laid-back music. On the first floor there are three large bedrooms; the first features a double bed a dressing table fitted wardrobes and en-suite shower room with WC whilst the second has twin single beds. The final room is a family bedroom comprising of one double bed and a single bed. The main bathroom has a bath with separate shower and WC. Though there is little outside space with the property there is a pretty sheltered seating area and off-road parking for two or three cars.
