Larches is a delightful stone cottage set within a development around a pretty courtyard in an idyllic setting deep in the heart of the South Hams. All the cottages have been recently restored to sensitively balance their original, traditional features with the needs of modern living.  Larches is well equipped and presented to a good standard throughout with very comfortable furniture and furnishings - it is the perfect base from which to explore the stunning South Devon coastline and countryside.

All holiday guests benefit from a 25% reduction in the use of leisure facilities at Dartmouth Golf & Country Club (approx. 4 miles away), including indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, and reduced green fees on the golf course.

LOCATION Buckland Court - close to the popular village of Slapton - is ideally placed for all the attractions of this beautiful corner of South Devon.  Slapton is a pretty, traditional Devon village (with two pubs, a village store and 14th Century church) just 5 miles or so from Kingsbridge and 7 miles from the famous naval town of Dartmouth.  Slapton Sands and Blackpool Sands beaches are each within a short drive offering quick access to the South West Coast Path.

ENTRANCE From the courtyard a stable door leads through to a tiled hallway off which is a CLOAKROOM with w.c., shaver point and basin.

KITCHEN/SITTING/DINING ROOM The attractive and spacious open plan living accommodation has a cosy sitting area to the front, with comfortable sofas and chairs, flatscreen TV (with Freeview), DVD player, and electric stove.  The fully fitted kitchen area has a tasteful range of cupboards and units, four-ring gas hob with electric oven, microwave, fridge (with freezer compartment), dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.  The adjacent dining area has a table seating six comfortably.

BEDROOMS On the first floor, overlooking the courtyard, is a double room with King-size bed, bedside units and wardrobe, as well as a single room with 3' bed.  To the rear is a twin room with two single beds, bedside units and Velux window.  All duvets, pillows and bed linen are supplied - all towels are required (or hired by arrangement). 

BATH/SHOWER ROOMS A fully equipped bathroom has a bath, power shower (over), basin, shaver point, heated towel rail and w.c.

BABY FRIENDLY FACILITIES A travel cot, high chair and stair-gate are supplied.

OUTSIDE There is a gravel area with bench seat, stone walls, shrubs and flower borders.  Larches also benefits from the use of 1.5 acres of open grounds with two duck ponds and a shared barbecue (young children should be supervised at all times. 

PARKING For two cars with additional spaces behind Buckland House stables.

OTHER INFORMATION Full gas central heating and hot water.  Mostly carpeted throughout. Broadband internet available with telephone for local and incoming calls.  One well-behaved dog is allowed but smoking is not permitted.
