Netherton Farm is set in a small peaceful hamlet in a secluded valley surrounded by five acres of beautiful farm and woodland, seven miles from Salcombe in one direction and Dartmouth slightly further in the other. This area is a haven for birds and wildlife and a favourite for walkers (with or without a four-legged friend!) and cyclists. All guests at Netherton have use of the owner?s fabulous heated outdoor swimming pool (from May until early October, weather permitting) as well as access to the large communal grassed area.

Boxtree Barn is a delightful stone and wood-clad cottage, presented to an excellent modern standard whilst retaining many original features. This recently converted, pet friendly barn has a new and fresh feel, the highlight of which is the stunning open plan living accommodation with high vaulted ceiling, glass-panelled staircase and large woodburning stove. Tastefully furnished and well equipped throughout, the barn offers a tranquil and comfortable holiday experience for couples or young families in particular.

ACCOMMODATION Boxtree Barn is a stone and wood clad cottage, furnished and presented to an excellent standard, offering a tranquil and comfortable place to spend a holiday. This converted barn has a new and fresh feel, whilst retaining some lovely features of an older building.

ENTRANCE A short flight of steps lead up to French doors into the open plan living area

LOUNGE/KITCHEN/DINING ROOM A huge, 40' long, high ceilinged, light and spacious room with glass panelled stair case and a feature glass panel window on the floor! Oak flooring, wood burning stove, two double sofas (one a sofa bed) and a couple of comfy leather armchairs, flatscreen television with Sky, DVD player and CD player. French doors to a large wooden decked area with garden furniture. The dining area has an oak table with chairs. The kitchen units are white shaker style with granite worktops and splash-backs, butler sink, built-in dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, freezer and fridge, electric oven with gas hob. The staircase leads down to the sleeping accommodation.

BEDROOMS Master bedroom with King-size bed made from ash wood, bedside tables, chest of drawers and a flatscreen television. En suite shower room. Door to outside. Bedroom two has two single beds and bedside table. Both bedrooms are fully carpeted and all beds have new Vi-Spring mattresses. There is a cupboard between both bedrooms that has a hanging rail for extra storage. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels (excluding those for the beach) are provided.

BABY FRIENDLY FACILITIES A cot and highchair are available.

BATHROOMS The family bathroom has a bath, separate shower unit, wash-hand basin, w.c and heated towel rail. The en suite has a large shower unit with power shower, w.c and wash-hand basin with heated towel rail. Both are tiled in natural limestone on the walls and stylish white tiles on the floor

OUTSIDE In addition to the decked area is a large communal grass area to the front of the barn and for those with dogs, there is use of a couple of fields adjoining the property. 

SWIMMING POOL Use of outdoor heated pool in the summer.

OTHER INFORMATION Strictly no smoking. Up to two well behaved dogs permitted by arrangement with the owners. Wireless internet broadband available

NB. Please be aware that there is a small circular former farm pond below Willow Studio. Children and dogs need to be supervised at all times.
