Bay Tree Cottage
Netherton Farm is set in a small peaceful hamlet in a secluded valley surrounded by five acres of beautiful farm and woodland, seven miles from Salcombe in one direction and Dartmouth slightly further in the other. This area is a haven for birds and wildlife and a favourite for walkers (with or without a four-legged friend!) and cyclists. All guests at Netherton have use of the owner?s fabulous heated outdoor swimming pool (from May until early October, weather permitting) as well as access to the large communal grassed area.
Bay Tree Cottage is a charming and comfortable retreat annexed to the main Saxon farmhouse, very well presented over two floors and ideally suited to a couple or young family. The welcoming and spacious living accommodation is dominated by an original Inglenook fireplace and woodburning stove whilst the first floor en suite bedroom is full of character and very tastefully furnished. The cottage has a private, raised decking area with table and chairs and accepts up to two well behaved dogs.

ENTRANCE A few steps lead up to a private entrance and then into the open plan living area.
LOUNGE/KITCHEN/DINING ROOM A very welcoming and spacious room dominated by the original Inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove. The sitting area has a large sofa, comfy armchair, TV/ DVD player & CD stereo. The dining area has a farmhouse table with four chairs. EN SUITE BEDROOM A light and airy room with vaulted ceiling and delightful views across the valley. King-size, metal framed bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers and wardrobe. The bedroom also has a pull out double day bed suitable for one or two small children under 10 years of age only. En suite bathroom with bath only, built-in basin and w.c. N.B All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels (excluding those for the beach) are provided.
BABY FRIENDLY FACILITIES A cot and highchair are available.
OUTSIDE The cottage has a private, raised decking area with table and chairs and for those with dogs, there is use of a couple of fields adjoining the property.
SWIMMING POOL Use of outdoor heated pool (May until end of October weather permitting)
PARKING For one car is available close to the property.
OTHER INFORMATION The cottage has polished wooden flooring throughout. Strictly no smoking. Two well behaved dogs permitted by arrangement with the owners. Wireless internet broadband available.
NB. Please be aware that there is a small circular former farm pond below Willow Studio. Children and dogs need to be supervised at all times.
