Torrings is a beautifully presented Grade II listed barn conversion, very comfortably furnished and equipped to a high standard throughout. The two storey accommodation was fully refurbished in 2012 and is an ideal base for families or one/two couples looking for a cosy cottage within easy reach of this popular village, Piglet Stores and Cafe and the stunning South Devon coastline nearby.

LOCATION The barn is in the very heart of East Prawle, Devon's southernmost village.  Adjoining Torrings Cottage the barn is within easy reach of the South West Coastal Path, the village pub (The Pig's Nose) and the market town of Kingsbridge is a 15-20 minute drive away whilst Salcombe can be reached via the East Portlemouth ferry (4 miles away).

VIEWS Pleasant views from the bedrooms across gardens and neighbouring farmland.

ENTRANCE The entrance leads directly into the very spacious open plan accommodation at ground floor level. 

SITTING ROOM A cosy and very tastefully furnished living area with two large sofas, widescreen TV with Sky+ HD, Blu-ray DVD player, bookcase and range of board games, DVDs etc.  A hand crafted oak staircase leads up to the first floor bedrooms.

KITCHEN/DINING ROOM A step up from the sitting room leads into a very light and stylish kitchen/dining area.  The well-equipped country kitchen has a beautiful range of fitted units with attractive worktops - facilities include an electric oven and grill, four-ring induction hob, integrated fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer.  A large oak dining table has six chairs.

BEDROOMS Two, both on the first floor. The master bedroom has a King-size bed, bedside units, chest of drawers, wardrobe and TV/DVD player.  The second bedroom is set up as a twin with two 3' single beds, but can be linked to create a super King-size double (6') on request - it also has a bedside unit, wardrobe, chair and drawers.  N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels supplied - tenants need to bring beach and tea towels.

BATHROOM An attractive, mostly tiled bathroom includes a bath, separate shower cubicle, w.c., wash-hand basin, heated towel rail, shaver point and light.

OUTSIDE To the front of the barn is a small stone terrace with table and four chairs. 

BABY FRIENDLY EQUIPMENT Travel cot, highchair and baby friendly plates and cutlery.

PARKING For one medium sized car in the owner's garage.  Additional parking usually available in the village nearby.

OTHER INFORMATION Beautiful stone tiles throughout the ground floor with Karndean flooring in the bedrooms and bathroom.  Thermostatically controlled oil fired central heating and hot water.  Strictly no smoking permitted.  Broadband available.

A Cream Tea with locally made scones, jam and cream, plus Riverford  organic whole milk, coffee and tea for all guests with compliments of the owner.
