A little further afield visit Coldstream, take a walk in the Cheviot Hills or explore Holy Island and Bamburgh: all are within 30 miles. Berwick-upon-Tweed with its good selections of shops, cafes and restaurants is only 6 miles. Shops and pub serving food 3.5 miles.
