Visit Raglan Castle, Hay-on-Wye, the Roman fortress at Caerleon, the Usk Museum of Rural Life and Tintern Abbey. Usk, 3 miles, a regular winner of Britain in Bloom has local services, antique shops and restaurants. The Open Gardens Weekend (late June) is a must.
