Set beside the owners’ home, but very private, it is only 200 yards from a dining pub, post office and butcher’s store selling convenience goods, and just 0.5 miles from spectacular Thor’s Cave where a traffic free cycle/footpath invites exploration. Cycle hire is available at Waterhouses, 4 miles, and both pony trekking and fishing are under 10 miles, whilst the market town of Leek is only 6 miles. Alton Towers (8 miles), Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Little Moreton Hall, Trentham Gardens Monkey Forest and the Potteries’ china museums are within 15 miles. Shop and pub serving food 200 yards.
