Traditional stone cottages and shops are clustered around the cobbled market place, offering exceptional shopping facilities, with a monthly farmer's market offering a mouthwatering range of organic and homemade local produce. Situated on the River Wharfe, with the extensive Grass Woods, this is a superb walking area. Down dale is Bolton Abbey with the Abbey ruins, the Priory and the famous "Strid Walk". Up dale are Kettlewell and Buckden boasting spectacularly beautiful limestone scenery. With many other beauty spots scattered throughout Wharfedale, Grassington provides a great base for exploring the local area and all that the Dales have to offer, with Bronte Country and York also being within easy motoring distance.

From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?

This property was ideally located in the heart of the village. It had a cozy, comfortable feel about it and was a lovely place to stay.
Mrs Maher, Wakefield, West Yorkshire
September 2013

,We have been holidaying in the Dales for over 10 years now. Of the other properties that we have stayed in, Hardy Grange really does stand out. It is a delightful and beautiful house, steeped in history, and offering excellent facilities and high quality furnishings.
