There are numerous attractions close by including Caerlaverock Threave and Drumlanrig castles Galloway astronomy centre Robert Burns museum Dino Park the 7stanes Scottish borders dark skies park Sweetheart Abbey Mabie Farm Park or just relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery and abundance of wildlife in this area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Additional info: the main entrance gate is not the owners property so the front gate will not be locked but can be closed. Location: pubs shops 4 miles and beach within walking distance.
