The village of Shebbear is nearby with a mobile Post Office shop church and pub all within a short drive. There are also numerous pubs nearby serving locally produced food. There is plenty to do and see in the area with the long sandy beaches of Bude and Westward Ho! within a 35 minute drive. The rugged Tors and tumbling streams of Dartmoor are a 40 minute drive while Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor Gardens are within easy reach. A wide variety of water sports including fishing canoeing and sailing are available at Tamar Lakes or Roadford Lake while the Granite Way and Tarka Trail provide off-road cycle paths. The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms approached through a low doorway and cottage style stairs: 1 king-size with sloping ceiling 1 twin and 1 small single room. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC on the ground floor. Lounge: with inglenook fireplace and woodburner (first basket of logs included) TV DVD and located to the side of the lounge a cosy snug with seating. Kitchen/diner: with Range with electric oven and gas hob microwave fridge and dishwasher. Utility room: with washing machine and freezer. Outside: large secluded garden and paved patio area with pergola over situated to enjoy the countryside views with outside seating and BBQ.
