Our Dart Marina properties are situated on the edge of the River Dart in Dartmouth, one of the West Country's most sought after locations. Designed by award-winning architects, featuring many high-tech 'extras' and stylishy finished, a short break or longer stay at Dart Marina offers the ultimate in luxury self catering all year round. .
The Dart Marina properties boast stunning water views and many have free use of the luxury Dart Marina Health Spa included. The elegant River Restaurant and first class yacht harbour are all close by, so you can enjoy the boutique hotel experience with the flexibility and freedom of a large, stylish holiday apartment.
Picturesque Dartmouth, with its pretty, narrow streets offering art galleries, tea rooms and individual shops is just a short walk along the embankment and the town is gaining a reputation for its great choice of places to eat, with well known chefs in several restaurants. Just outside the town is an excellent golf course and the stunning unspoilt beaches and coastal paths of Start Bay including the Blue Flag award winning Blackpool Sands are just a 10 minute drive away.
Individually styled, our eleven Dart Marina properties have been very tastefully and creatively finished but vary slightly in terms of decoration, furnishings and layout. The main reception rooms have each been designed to maximise the views across the River Dart and to the woods beyond. The apartments offer a spacious entrance hall and living accommodation, with large bathrooms on the same level.
The townhouse (no 26), and Apartment 18 (Ground Floor) each enjoy a private riverside terrace whilst the apartments offer a balcony, a large window seat or fabulous windows from which to enjoy the wonderful views. State-of-the-art contemporary kitchen with Poggenphol units and Smeg appliances making self catering a pleasure, whilst bedrooms and living areas are luxuriously appointed with sumptuous soft furnishings and bathrooms are beautifully presented with towels.
All properties are strictly non-smoking and no pets are allowed. A cot and highchair are available at each property on request (excluding No.3), but due to the waterside location parents must supervise young children at all times.
For those who need to stay in touch during their South Devon break, wireless broadband internet is available at most properties (please check with office prior to booking). Guests staying at most of our Dart Marina properties can enjoy the use of the luxury facilities of the Dart Marina Health Spa*, including indoor pool, steam room, Jacuzzi, gym and beautifully designed relaxtion areas.Beauty treatments from Elemis can be pre-booked, with 10% off for those staying in our Dart Marina properties.
APARTMENT 32, DART MARINA (1ST FLOOR)
A superbly furnished and presented first floor apartment with stunning river views
ENTRANCE From the ground floor entry level stairs or lift lead up to the apartment entrance which opens into a tastefully decorated hallway.
LOUNGE/DINING ROOM The beautifully remodelled living space has undergone a stunning refurbishment (2014) featuring a Ralph Lauren-inspired wall covering and stylish designer Italian furniture including sofas, chaise longue, Venezia coffee table, Cometa bassa table lamps and large floor-standing nautical searchlight. The lounge is equipped with the latest technological equipment, such as a retractable 46 Smart television with integrated cinema surround sound and music system (available in all rooms), Xbox ONE, and DVD player. The dining area has a contemporary round dining table with four swivel Pierre Paulin tulip chairs, and is the ideal position from which to take in the panoramic view across the River Dart and to Kingswear beyond. The views can be enhanced by retracting the bi-fold bay windows.
KITCHEN The state-of-the art kitchen with stone worktops has lovely Poggenphol units, integrated Smeg appliances including a superb six-ring gas range and oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. In addition there is a coffee machine, combination microwave and toaster.
BEDROOMS The spacious master suite has a super-King size bed, glass bedside tables, fitted wardrobes, vanity dressing table with stool, and 32 Smart TV (cleverly hidden behind an automated removable mirror). The fully tiled en suite bathroom has a Kaldewei bath, with shower (over), spacious separate shower cubicle, hand basin, heated towel rail, shaver point and light. The second bedroom is an elegantly decorated twin, boasting two full size single beds, glass bedside units, fitted wardrobes, vanity dressing table with stool, and 32 Smart TV (also hidden by a mirror as above).
BATHROOMS In addition to the en suite (above) is a beautifully presented family bathroom (opposite the second bedroom), with Kaldewei bath, shower (over), wash hand basin, heated towel rail, shaver point and light.
INTERNET Wireless broadband internet is available.
DART MARINA SPA MEMBERSHIP Guests can enjoy the use of the luxury facilities of the Dart Marina Health Spa, including indoor pool, steam room, Jacuzzi, gym and beautifully designed relaxation areas. Please check directly with the Spa for opening times and for restrictions on when children can use the pool. Beauty treatments from Elemis are available, which should be pre-booked to avoid disappointment, with 10% off for those staying in our Dart Marina properties.
