The Black Mountains stretch for miles around you far reaching views of picturesque pine forests a mountain river flowing gently past down below and a fabulous walk to the Grwyne Reservoir at the head of the valley you can t fail to relax and unwind. Aptly named the cottage is one of a pair of original foresters cottages deep in the Grwyne Valley just off the famous Beacons Way with walking and biking right from the door second to none. In reach of market towns including Crickhowell with butchers independant stores and a useful mountaineering shop Abergavenny with regular markets Michelin restaurants and one of the UK s best food festivals each September. A drive over the hill will find you in the pretty hamlet of Llanthony with ancient Priory and pony trekking. Or stride out from the door and take a peek at the historic hillside church of St Issui at Patrishow at the end of the valley well worth the effort. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 2 king-size. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC on the ground floor. Lounge: with woodburner (a basket of logs included) TV DVD CD and radio. Kitchen/diner: well-equipped with Rayburn electric oven and hob microwave coffee machine and washing machine.
