A 10 minutes stroll from Shoalstone beach with free outdoor swimming pool Breakwater beach and the BerryHead Country Park with lovely walks and views across Torbay and the English Channel. The harbour and town with shops and restaurants are 15 minutes walk but if you prefer the bus service (which runs on time) stops 2 minutes from the apartment. There is a ferry service to Torquay be amazed by the beautiful coastline and if you are lucky you will see the dolphins that regularly follow the ferry. Relax with a drink and enjoy the views and sunset from the balcony or shared gardens. Ideally placed to explore the whole area including Dartmouth with its historical naval college Agatha Christie s estate the beautiful town of Totnes on the river Dart all a short drive away. Plymouth with its Hoe and Barbican is a little further as is Exeter with its magnificent cathedral and quayside. Or stay closer to home and explore Brixham which is steeped in history. Fishing trips leave from the harbour or enjoy watching the trawlers returning with their catches of fresh fish. Whatever your choice you will not be disappointed.
