Set amongst 8 acres of fields and farmland situated on the edge of the village of Moorlinch with far reaching views over the RSPB nature reserve and land of special scientific interest on the Somerset Levels. On a clear day you can see for miles around. Moorlinch itself has a 12th century church and craft centre which offers pottery and glass blowing as well as a family pub serving good food. You will be well placed to explore the area including Glastonbury with its Tor and Abbey Clarks retail village in Street Cheddar Gorge and the Cathedral City of Wells. There are many National Trust properties in the locality or you can enjoy a walk over the Quantock Hills all this within an hours drive. A little further out lie the historic City of Bath and Exmoor National Park. There are several sandy and dramatic coastal beaches to the north and south such as Lyme Regis Sidmouth and Burnham-On-Sea. If all of this is too much why not relax with a BBQ and a glass of wine or take in the views from the covered balcony or the well placed decked patio. On the ground floor are 2 further double bedrooms both with patio doors leading out onto the covered decked walk-way around the lodge where you can sit and relax. Bathroom: situated on the ground floor family-size with shower over bath WC and heated towel rail. Shower room situated on the first floor large with walk in double shower WC and heated towel rail. Lounge/kitchen/diner: large open-plan area with sofas chairs TV with surround-sound iPod docking station and large dining table. Well-equipped kitchen with induction hob double oven fridge/freezer dishwasher microwave washing machine and many useful extras. Outside: to the front is an enclosed patio area with seating. To the rear is a seating area with BBQ. Swing ball and Badminton available too. Amenities: ample parking to the side of the lodge. Bed linen towels electric and underfloor heating included. Seasonal heating surcharge applicable of 25 for any week or short break booking from 1 October - 1 May direct to the owner on arrival. There are 2 highchairs and 1 cot available in the property. Regret no pets. No smoking in the property. Location: 10 minute drive from Millfield School ideal for parents visiting children boarding. Less than a 30 minute drive from the Glastonbury Festival.
