The cottage has been sympathetically restored to give a balance of original features - including exposed stone walls in the sitting room - and modern creature comforts, and even enjoys a sneaky peek of Batson Creek from the first floor master bedroom, and also from the attic bedroom.

SITTING ROOM The cottage is accessed directly from Shadycombe Road into a long open plan sitting room and kitchen and dining area beyond. This area is particularly cosy with two comfortable sofas and a leather chair set in front of an open fireplace with stone surround. TV and DVD (can also play CDs).
KITCHEN/DINING AREA Small but well equipped, modern kitchen with stylish new units, 4-ring gas hob, electric oven, fridge (with freezer compartment), washer/dryer and microwave. Good sized dining table with 6 chairs (incl. 2 folding). Door out to rear passageway and terrace area.
BEDROOMS Three in total. 1st floor - Master bedroom with double bed, bedside units, wardrobe and en suite shower room, with power shower, wash-hand basin and w.c. Second bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and bedside units. 2nd floor (attic) - twin bedroom with 3' single beds and stairgate. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels provided (tenants are required to bring own beach towels).

SHOWER ROOM In addition to the en suite is a second shower room (1st floor) with power shower, wash-hand basin and w.c.
OUTSIDE Good sized paved terrace to the rear of the cottage with table, chairs and barbeque.
PARKING The long-stay car park is a three minute walk away. Weekly passes can be purchased from our office.
OTHER INFORMATION Flooring is a mixture of tiles, wood and rugs on the ground floor with carpet on 1st and 2nd floor levels. Full gas central heating and hot water. Wireless broadband internet available. Strictly no smoking or pets.
