South Down Farm is situated in a quiet, secluded position, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by National Trust farmland a short walk through a delightful valley to Soar Mill Cove and the South Devon Coast Path. Salcombe and Kingsbridge are three and five miles away respectively, whilst the village of Malborough, with its pubs, small shop and post office, is just a 2-3 minute drive.

ACCOMMODATION The Granary is an extremely attractive barn conversion on two floors that features a large open plan living room with high ceiling and galleried landing. It is an ideal base for couples or families to enjoy and explore the surrounding countryside and coastal walks yet within only a short drive of Salcombe, Hope Cove and surrounding villages.  

LOUNGE/DINING ROOM An entrance door leads into a light and spacious living room with high vaulted ceiling and elevated views over the central courtyard across to neighbouring countryside. The lounge area has comfortable seating area, coffee table, sideboard, television, DVD player, radio and electric fire. Dining table and chairs. Wood laminate flooring throughout. There are many DVDs and a collection of games and jigsaws.

KITCHEN A good sized fitted kitchen (off living room) with 4-ring electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Separate utility area with washer/dryer.

BEDROOMS Three, all at first floor level. Double bedroom with double bed, fitted wardrobes and bedside units. Twin room with two full size single beds, fitted wardrobes and bedside unit. Single room with bedside unit.

BATHROOMS Two in total. On the ground floor is a tiled bathroom with bath, electric shower (over), w.c, wash hand-basin and shaver point. On the first floor is a shower room with large cubicle, power shower, w.c, wash hand-basin and shaver point.

BABY FRIENDLY FACILITIES A cot, highchair and stairgate is available.

OUTSIDE To the front of the property is a private, paved terrace area with patio table, chairs and barbecue.  There is also a communal garden/play area nearby.

PARKING Space for two cars at the front of the property.

Unlimited broadband available. Telephone available for incoming calls and outgoing emergency calls only. N.B.
