Homefield House is a delightful detached house within just a short walk of the village and the stunning South Devon coastline. Whilst only built in 1999, the house has been extensively refurbished and extended in recent years to provide a very high standard of accommodation for one/two families, or perhaps couples looking for a very comfortable retreat in the heart of this picturesque Devon village.

LOCATION Homefield is a small development of new houses set in a private cul-de-sac in the centre of Thurlestone village. The house itself is within just a few yards of the 4-Star 'Thurlestone Hotel' (with its challenging Par 3 golf course and popular restaurant), Village Inn pub and stores/post office, whilst the famous 18-hole links golf course is around 1/4 mile away. There are a number of popular beaches nearby whilst the famous sailing waters of Salcombe are within a pleasant 10-15 minute drive.

ENTRANCE From the driveway two steps down and across the front terrace to the entrance door, and into a hallway which opens out into the lounge.

LOUNGE A very spacious and sociable L-shaped sitting room that extends through into the kitchen/dining room. One area of the room is presented with two double sofas, feature open fireplace, flat-screen TV with Sky+ HD and DVD player. Double French doors lead out to the terrace and garden beyond. Towards the kitchen is a second seating area with sofa, two armchairs, iPod docking unit and further set of doors to the garden.

KITCHEN/DINING ROOM Also on the ground floor is a very well equipped kitchen with tiled flooring, range of fitted units, four-ring gas hob, electric oven and grill, microwave, freezer and dishwasher. Ash dining table with Eight chairs. Through to a UTILITY ROOM with larder fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer. Door out to garden.

BEDROOMS Four in total. On the ground floor is a very well presented master bedroom with super King-size bed (6'), bedside units, dressing table and chair, and walk-in dressing area with fitted wardrobes/shelves. Large, fully tiled en suite bathroom with under floor heating, bath, power shower (over), two wash hand basins, w.c. and heated towel rail. On the first floor are three further bedrooms; a large double with King-size bed, bedside units, wardrobe, drawers and en suite bathroom with bath, electric shower (over), wash-hand basin, w.c. and heated towel rail. In addition there are two twin rooms on the first floor each with two single beds, wardrobe and drawers. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels (excluding beach towels) are supplied.

BATHROOMS In addition to the two en suites (above) is a family bathroom on the first floor with bath, hand-held shower, wash hand basin, w.c., heated towel rail and shaver point.

OUTSIDE At the front of the house is substantial terraced area with stone paving, table, chairs and bench seating. To the rear is a terrace with wooden tables, chairs and sun loungers, leading to a good sized, mature garden laid mainly to lawn

PARKING Off road parking on large, private drive for up to four cars and boat trailer.

OTHER INFORMATION The ground floor of the house has mainly wood flooring, with tiles in the kitchen/dining area - fitted carpet on the stairs and in all bedrooms.
