This gorgeous cottage is just a few yards from the beach and sea for a beach walk or swim in the summer. From the bedroom windows there are views of the salt marsh, beach and houseboats. It is also just a short stroll from the famous Company Shed fish restaurant on the coast road. This charming, 17th-century cottage has a lovely, sunny beach house feel and provides the perfect holiday or long weekend accommodation. The island is reached by a causeway and is popular for sailing, lovely walks, birdwatching and water sports, as well as tasty fish restaurants and generally for having a relaxing time. If you drive off the island, you can reach Suffolk’s Constable Country easily, along with all the pretty pubs and restaurants of Essex and Suffolk. Colchester, with its castle and shopping, is just 9 miles away. Shops and pubs 500 yards.
