Situated on the top of a low cliff overlooking the beach with the most amazing coastal views, this much loved family home is an ideal seaside getaway. If you like the sound of the sea, direct access to a sandy beach, a sunny patio, breathtaking views from most rooms as well as a woodburner, then Clamberdown can’t be beaten. Large picture windows in the spacious upstairs living area open to let the outside in and both the balcony and the sunny conservatory provide somewhere to marvel at the exceptional view. There is also a downstairs games room with pool, air hockey table, TV and dart board to keep everyone amused if the weather doesn’t behave itself. Downderry itself is a pretty village facing the sea with restaurants, pub, café and a well-stocked shop and a short stroll along the shoreline will bring you to the much larger family beach at Seaton with its own beachside café. Cornwall itself has much to see and do, from the dramatic North coast with its amazing surfing beaches to the many small coves, fishing villages and estuaries of the South coast, long the haunt of smugglers. The famous Eden Project is well worth a visit and the popular fishing villages of Polperro and Looe are just a few minutes drive away.

Steps down to living space. Dining area with oak table and chairs to seat eight, woodburner and sliding patio doors to balcony. Kitchen with breakfast bar, ceramic hob, eye level oven and grill, larder fridge, separate freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Living room with woodburner, sofa, two armchairs and two leather occasional chairs (situated in the window bay to take advantage of the views), TV with Freeview and DVD. Single bedroom off lounge with 3ft single bed. Family bathroom with bath, power shower, hand basin and WC. Utility cupboard with washing machine and tumble dryer. Steps down to lower ground floor. Games room with pool, air hockey table, dart board and TV (for DVD’s only). Patio doors open onto the front terrace. Master bedroom with 5ft king size bed, armchair with small table and patio doors to garden. Second double bedroom with 5ft king size bed. Single bedroom with 3ft single bed and door to large conservatory with cane sofa, two armchairs, coffee table and patio doors to the garden.Shower room with walk in shower, hand basin and WC.

Outside: Wide terrace running full width of the house with steps down to lawn and small decked lookout, furnished with table and chairs. Balcony off the dining area wih table and chairs.

Parking: For up to three cars on driveway.
