This delightful, traditional thatched cottage is hidden away in the older part of Hope Cove, a pretty former fishing village. It is just a few steps away from the sandy beach and slipway of Inner Hope as well as the South West Coastal Path that meanders along this glorious coastline. A real chocolate box cottage, which is suitable for holidays in any season, Rambler’s has cosy rooms with low ceilings, exposed beams and a real fire to warm those spring and autumn evenings. In conclusion, this is a comfortable holiday cottage in a lovely location.

‘Not long enough again! Weather iffy but managed a day on Beacon beach. Rowing back Matt and Doc were met by 2 dolphins who swam around the boat for 20 mins. Can’t get much better than that! The wood burner is fantastic.’

Accommodation:

Hallway. Carpeted lounge with two sofas and occasional cane chair surrounding the Inglenook fireplace inset with wood burner. TV with DVD. Kitchen/diner with electric hob, oven and grill, larder fridge with separate freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Pine dining table with seating for 6, dresser and sideboard. Upstairs: Single bedroom in the eaves with a 3ft bed and hanging hooks. Twin bedroom, also in eaves with two 2ft 6in single beds and a chest of drawers. Master bedroom with a 4ft 6in double bed, wardrobe and bureaux. Utility room/cloakroom with washing machine and WC adjoining a family bathroom with bath, electric shower over, hand basin and WC.

Picnic table and benches in front of the cottage, overlooking the square.

Parking: Normally available in the square.
