The two cottages at Locks farm are charming, spotless and extremely comfortable, a positive oasis from which to explore this stunning area. Both cottages and the farmhouse are within an attractive gated courtyard area, the original former farmyard, with gardens and parking.

Once a working farm, but now a small tranquil group of properties tucked in a sheltered spot in the heart of East Prawle village, the most southerly point of Devon. The village enjoys a green, has a shop, the Piglet Stores, a pub, The Pig’s Nose and the Piglet Cafe and is a mile from the sea in the middle of unspoilt farmland with cliffs, coves and beaches waiting to be explored. The coastal path offers superb scenery, breathtaking walks and bird watching with longer walks along the National Trust Neptune Path to Start Point or Salcombe and beyond.

The Granary is a roomy detached conversion with superb views of the valley and the sea from the kitchen diner, lounge and balcony and provides comfortable accommodation for up to six persons.

Accommodation:

Hallway. Stairs to first floor sitting room provided with two sofas and chair, TV with integrated DVD/CD player and superb views from the large glass door and windows that extend across one wall. This opens to a wide south facing balcony with uninterrupted views of the valley and down to the sea and is provided with garden furniture. The well equipped kitchen diner has table with benches, electric hob, built-under oven, dishwasher, microwave, fitted fridge and freezer.

Upstairs bedrooms both with fitted wardrobes: Single bedroom with 3ft bed and double bedroom with 4ft 6in bed. Downstairs bedrooms both with fitted wardrobes: Single bedroom with 3ft bed and a twin bedroom with two 3ft beds. Off the hallway is a cloakroom with WC, basin and washing machine. Adjacent bathroom with bath, hand shower, basin, WC and separate shower cubicle.

Outside: Private area of lawn is to one side the cottage with garden furniture, barbecue and washing line. The garage (not for use) has a hanging area for wet suits.

Parking: Alongside the cottage for 2 cars.
