The two cottages at Locks farm are charming, spotless and extremely comfortable, a positive oasis from which to explore this stunning area. Both cottages and the farmhouse are within an attractive gated courtyard area, the original former farmyard, with gardens and parking.

Once a working farm, but now a small tranquil group of properties tucked in a sheltered spot in the heart of East Prawle village, the most southerly point of Devon. The village enjoys a green, has a shop, the Piglet Stores, a pub, The Pig’s Nose and the Piglet Cafe and is a mile from the sea in the middle of unspoilt farmland with cliffs, coves and beaches waiting to be explored. The coastal path offers superb scenery, breathtaking walks and bird watching with longer walks along the National Trust Neptune Path to Start Point or Salcombe and beyond.

The Shippen is a spacious, detached and charming conversion providing comfortable accommodation for two people with the option of two additional adults. It is also suitable for the accompanied disabled.

Front door into kitchen that is very well equipped and fitted with electric hob, eye level oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge with ice box. Utility area and washing machine in garage. Arch into a spacious L shaped living room with dining table to seat 4, large sofa (that converts to a 4ft 6in sofa bed), two chairs and TV with DVD and CD player. Wide patio doors open to a secluded patio area. Double bedroom with twin 3ft beds that can form a double bed, pine furniture, fitted wardrobe and basin in vanity unit. Adjacent shower room with shower cubicle, basin, WC and bidet.

Outside: Ramp and separate steps to front door. Paved, secluded and sunny patio to the side and rear of the cottage with garden furniture and barbecue. Washing line.

Parking: For 2 cars, one in garage and one outside.
