Mercedes S-Class Is Women's World Car
Voting in some of the classes was very close. The Range Rover Sport was named top SUV by a small margin from the Porsche Macan, while Audi's two wins for the A3 Saloon (Family) and S3 (Sports) were achieved despite close competition from the Volkswagen Golf SV and BMW M4 respectively. And, with the A8, Audi came within one tenth of a point of beating the S-Class in the Luxury category.

How to fix a problem like VW in North America
It seemed a good idea for Volkswagen at the time. Build a new factory in America, launch a dedicated new model, watch US sales soar from 270,000 to 400,000 units. But in mid-2013, the ramped-up euphoria died a sudden death as VW of North America started to lose sales and market share, a process which has continued to the present day.
