Guildhall

The Court of Common Council administers the City of London and meets in the Guildhall. Dating from 1411 the building was badly damaged in the Great Fire and the Blitz. Beneath it lies a 15th century crypt. The Clock Museum charts 500 years of time-keeping. The Guildhall Library has an unrivalled collection of manuscripts, books and illustrations. Pre-booked Guildhall Guided Tours by calling The Keepers Office. To view the Clock Museum contact the Guildhall Library.
