The most expensive of Edward I's castles, Caernarfon Castle took nearly 50 years to build. It now stands as the most famous castle in Wales and is a World Heritage listed site. Two of the towers house the Regimental Museum of the Royal Welch Fusiliers, Wales's oldest regiment.
