Manor, The

Manor, The,Stoke-on-Trent,UK InformationCentrally located in the Moorlands and under 5 miles from Alton Towers, this beautiful 250 year old house with a landscaped walled garden was originally built as a rectory.

The Beech tree restaurant and garden bar are open for dinner each day, except Sundays when the house closes at 16:00 and latest check in is 20:00. From June 1st, dependant upon weather and demand, dinner will be served outside, barbecue style.
Personally managed by the owners, in a relaxed informal style, where the emphasis is on quality of food and personal service, the Manor is a haven of peace where it is easy to unwind.
The Beech Tree restaurant and bar is open for dinner every day except Sunday. Table reservations are strongly advised at time of booking.
The menu is all prepared in-house and the steaks and lamb come from local farms. There is also a menu designed for younger guests.
Food and drink not purchased at the Manor may not be consumed anywhere on the premises. This is a condition of booking and customers are requested to respect this policy.

- You will approach a roundabout with McDonalds on the right; take the 2nd exit but remain in the inside lane.
- Approximately 650 metres (0.4 miles) after the roundabout, take the exit marked Upper Tean and Cheadle (A522).
- Follow this road for approximately 9.5 km (6 miles) until you enter Upper Tean, then follow a sharp bend to the left.
- After this bend, take the 1st right signposted for Cheadle.
- Follow this road for approximately 4 km (2.5 miles) and turn left at the 1st roundabout.
- As you pass a large church on your left, take the 1st left after the church, then right at the end of the short road.
- The Manor car park is on your left.
From the M6:
- Leave the M6 at junction 15 (from the South) or junction 16 (from the North).

- This is now a straight road leading to Cheadle.
- Upon entering Cheadle, go straight on across 2 mini-roundabouts.
- Turn right at the next larger roundabout.

- Turn left at this sign and then right at the T-junction.
- The Manor car park is on your left.
Do not worry if you miss the sign and the turning, many people do. If you happen to miss it, you will approach a monument at a fork in the road. The driveway immediately on your left, before the monument, is the front entrance to The Manor.
