The European Premiere of March's biggest film, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" went ahead in London with heightened security after the bombing attacks in Brussels.

Georgia's 'religious liberty' bill has come under criticism with Disney and Marvel saying they will cease film production in Georgia if the state passes the bill while others in the film industry have also announced plans to boycott the State.

Daisy Ridley has addressed Tomb Raider rumours by confirming that she has been approached to play Lara Croft.

Paul McCartney is shooting a scene for Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, due for release in May 2017. This might seem odd but Keith Richards played Captain Jack Sparrow's father in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.

"Battle Of The Sexes", the story of the rivalry between tennis pros Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King, with Steve Carell and Emma Stone in the lead roles has added four more stars to the cast.
Sarah Silverman will play Gladys Heldman, Elisabeth Shue will play Riggs' wife, Andrea Riseborough will play King's secretary Marilyn Barnett and Austin Stowell will play Larry King, Billie Jean's husband. Production is due to begin in April.

And staying with Emma Stone; she will take the lead in "Letters From Rosemary" about President John F. Kennedy's eldest sister who suffered from mental disability which the family tried to hide.

Another film that has added a number of stars is the indie drama "Mudbound" with talks involving Garrett Hedlund, Carey Mulligan, Jason Clarke and Jason Mitchell.

Lily Collins will be busy for a while after signing up to two projects this week. She will join Jake Gyllenhaal in Okja playing an anarchist, as well as a dark comedy, "To The Bone", about anorexia.

Garry Shandling, writer, actor, producer and comedian died at age 66 of a heart attack. Better known for his TV roles, he was know for "The Larry Sanders Show" and "It's Garry Shandling's Show".

A man has been arrested in North Carolina for not returning a "Freddy Got Fingered" VHS rental 14 years ago. The failure to return rental property is a misdemeanour punishable by a fine of up to $200 and there has been a warrant for his arrest since 2002. Even though the rental store closed some time ago, he still has to show up in court next month.
