After the #OscarsSoWhite row over lack of diversity in the Oscars, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has added three new governors from diverse backgrounds to its 51-member board as well as appointing six minority ethnic members. The Academy also apologised for the segment of the show where Chris Rock appeared with Asian children which was criticised for jokes at the expense of Asians.

The production of "Maze Runner: Death Trials" has been put on hold after the star Dylan O'Brien was hit by a car in a car scene and suffered multiple injuries. Production has shut down while he recovers.

John Boyega visited children in The Royal London Hospital dressed as his 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' character, Fin, and distributed toys from the film on behalf of the charity Rays of Sunshine.

A jury has awarded Hulk Hogan $115m (£79m) after the gossip news website Gawker published a secretly recorded sex tape of Hogan having sex with his friend's wife.

It has been confirmed that Harrison Ford will star in a fifth Indiana Jones film, directed by Steven Spielberg. There are no other cast details but the film will be released in July 2019.
