I remember alton from the days when I was10 years old, I lived with my parents in "headly",,I loved the smell of the brewery which used to invade the town, I am 83 years now so the memory still comes back when I think of the town, I used to go there whith my father who was a police officer in alton,the market too was so good in those days, thanks for a lovely home page, I love it,--bill.
