Lets go back in time to that swinging year of 1995 to a quaint little town called Dronfield. Three boys, small but strangely hairy, meet at school in an RE lesson by all claiming to show the best resemblance to the son of Christ, Gary Bushall. Bound together by their strange appearances, they decide to start a ballooning club, but due to lack of expertise and experience, decide to start a lovely little band, now known as MYBE.





THE MEANING OF MYBE
The name MYBE (pronounced mibe, not my-bee) came about after one of their first rehearsals. Feeling tired and hungry after a grueling practice, the band sat down to a hearty meal of beef chasseur and alphabites. Jez, being the joker that he is let off what could only be described as 'a guff' which reduced the boys to hysterical laughter, this led to them spitting out their meal on the table and low and behold, those magical alphabites had spelt out MYBE - what a world!.
SO WHAT HAVE MYBE ACTUALLY DONE?
Well, they've played over 600 gigs (some with signed bands such as "THE DAMNED", "KING PRAWN", "4 FT FINGERS"'JOHN OTTWAY" , "U.K SUBS" , "HALF MAN HALF BISCUIT" , "STIFF LITTLE FINGERS", Recorded 3 E.P's - 'Chemical Generation', 'Songs about nout' and 'The Shite Album'(soon to be released), invented the Internet*, appeared on several compilation albums, slept with all four members of ABBA*, signed a £15,000 sponsorship deal which paid for studio time and new equipment (cheers John), toured in France (cheers John), started the space race back in the swinging sixties*, won Derbyshire Band of the Year 2000, won the farmers 'design a combine harvester competition' six years in a row*,and built a reputation for being the most entertaining twats in pop.
