London Airport Trains

London's Major airports are served by regular train services. If you are travelling between Central London and one of the major London airports, you should try one of these London Airport Trains.

  • Heathrow Express is the fastest way between Heathrow Airport and London Paddington. Trains depart every 15 minutes, with a journey time of 15 minutes to terminals 1, 2 and 3 and a further few minutes to terminal 5 (see below for teminal 4). Heathrow Express operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The trains leave Paddington and Heathrow from early morning til late at night. Carriages are clean, spacious and air-conditioned with friendly staff on-hand and easy access for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Express TV gives the latest BBC news updates and mobiles can be used throughout the journey or choose our 'Quiet Zones' for a telephone and TV free environment. Trains offer both First and Express Class carriages. Whether you are travelling for business or pleasure, Heathrow Express is the perfect stress-free way to start or finish your journey.

    Passengers wanting Terminal 4 should choose the slightly slower Heathrow Connect service from Paddington or Hayes and Harlington, or change to that train at Heathrow Central (T1, T2 & T3). Every third train on this branch of the Piccadilly Line also serves T4 prior to T1/2/3.
  • Gatwick Express is the fastest way between Gatwick Airport and central London taking you directly into Victoria Station. Trains depart every 15 minutes with a non-stop journey time of 30 minutes. Gatwick Express operates seven days a week and the trains depart Victoria and Gatwick from the early morning until late at night. Stylish trains have been introduced, featuring striking exteriors and increased seat and luggage capacity. Carriages are clean, spacious and air-conditioned, with friendly staff on hand. Trains offer both First Class and Express Class accommodation and there is an at-seat refreshment facility service. So whether you are travelling for business or pleasure, Gatwick Express is the perfect way to start or finish your journey.
  • Stansted Express is the fastest way between Stansted Airport and central London taking you directly into London Liverpool Street or Tottenham Hale. Trains depart every 15 to 30 minutes with a journey time of 45 minutes. All services call at Tottenham Hale station in North London, which provides a fast link to the West End via the London Underground's Victoria line. It takes less than an hour to get from Stansted Airport to Oxford Circus via Tottenham Hale. Stansted Express departs either every 15 or 30 minutes, dependant upon time of day. Our trains have been designed with the traveller in mind, with spacious luggage compartments adjacent to most doors and overhead racks for smaller bags. Access to the Terminal is just a 2 minute walk away from the platform. We offer both Express and First Class carriages. Freshly brewed coffee and continental style food is also available as well as a bar service from our at-seat trolley service.
