Situated in forty acres of beautiful Lake District countryside, Lodore Falls Hotel overlooks Derwentwater.
We have seventy-one bedrooms, most of which overlook Lake Derwetwater. We have a boat launch to Keswick, which is only five miles away. Our guests may also choose to use the Keswick Golf Club for free on weekdays.
The hotel has free car and coach parking. Non-smoking rooms are available upon request. Laundry facilities and luggage storage are services which we offer as well.
We welcome the disabled guests and allow their service dogs to stay in the rooms. We have designated parking for the disabled as well, and our chef will provide special dietary requirements.

The hotel is an elegant building standing in the midst of four acres of tended gardens and walking paths. It is a ten minute stroll to the town centre.
Due to legal restrictions, the hotel has become completely smoke-free. No smoking is allowed in public places or any of the bedrooms.
The hotel began as a railroad hotel in 1865 and soon became known as the leading hotel of the Lake District. Even Queen Elizabeth stayed here in 1956.
The meals in the Lonsdale Restaurant are outstanding. They provide a hearty Cumbrian breakfast as well as a three-course evening dinner. Child menus and high chairs reveal our respect for children of our guests.
