This hotel claims to hold the 'sunniest corner' of England. Though built in the 1800s as a small hotel, Sandgate has been refurbished and there is not much Victorian to it now. All rooms have comfortable and modern en-suite bathrooms, and most have a panoramic view of the sea.

Our 24 hour front desk is friendly to all from families to the disabled to gay guests. We have parking available in case you bring your own car. Newspapers are available as are photocopying services.

A lift helps guests get to their heated bedrooms. We have WIFI Internet service at no extra cost to guests. Usually we accept pets which accompany the people staying on our property. You should ask before assuming we will accept any particular pet.

Of course, children are welcome. However, we do not have cots to rent. Our rooms allow only one extra cot each.

We are only a five minute drive from the Channel Tunnel. Some of our rooms have a terrific view of France across the Channel.
