Fox and Grapes

Fox and Grapes,London Information
The Fox and Grapes, located on Camp Road next to the common have recently reopened after a full refurbishment. The pub has a new owner and has been taken over by two Michelin starred chef, Claude Bosi and his team. Whilst refurbishing, three beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms above the pub are now available on a B&B basis. Enjoy dinner and drinks in the pub, and then go straight up to a cosy bed for the night – or even stay for a delicious weekend in Wimbledon for business or pleasure! This luxury B&B has views across Wimbledon Common and is a short taxi ride away from the town centre, transport links and shopping facilities. The overland trains, tube and buses are a 5 minute taxi ride away, set back from the hustle and bustle of the town centre allowing for a peaceful stay in London. The centre of London is only 15 minutes away into Waterloo Station where many attractions can be found; Oxford Street shopping, Covent Garden, The West End or stop by at Claude’s Hibiscus restaurant for a taste of luxury. The leafy and quiet residential area of Wimbledon Common offers the perfect location for the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. The Bedrooms at the Fox and Grapes have a high quality finish with colour schemes which are inviting and relaxing. Each double bedroom has a newly fitted en-suite bathroom including full-length mirrors and big fluffy white towels. It goes without saying that we provide flat screen TVs in all three rooms with freeview, free wireless broadband (WiFi), hairdryer and a hot-drinks tray. Guests are more than welcome to pop down to the bar for drinks and snacks. Breakfast is served in the restaurant downstairs where a quintessentially English breakfast is served. Breakfast is included in the price that is if you’re still hungry! Each room is £150 per night, including continental breakfast (full English available with a supplementary charge) and VAT. Rates are subject to change and availability. Please call to confirm on 020 8619 1300. Claude Bosi opened Hibiscus restaurant in May 2000 in Ludlow, Shropshire. He won his first Michelin star in 2001 and subsequently his second three years later. In 2007, Hibiscus relocated to London. Claude has retained his two Michelin stars, and Hibiscus has been received as a welcome addition to the London restaurant scene. http://www.hibiscusrestaurant.co.uk/
