Volunteer Inn
This locally owned 17th century inn, is crammed with history, traditional local cask ales and plenty of character, and stands at the lower end of Chipping Campden's historic High Street.
The Volunteer has 2 bars. The back bar is non-smoking, where you can enjoy a drink or sample something from the unique menu which incorporates locally sourced produce. The lounge bar has a traditional Cotswold pub atmosphere and in the winter it benefits from a roaring log fire. There is a large choice of real ales and numerous CAMRA awards have been won in recent years.
The Indian restaurant, The Maharaja, serves authentic Indian cuisine. It mainly serves firm favourites, but also new and exciting dishes specially prepared by the chef. The variety of starters combine a glorious fusion of flavours and exotic tastes from varied regions across Asia. Dishes are prepared with a fine regard for their original cooking methods and tastes.
