Troon
P & O Irish Sea Ferries operate weekly ferry crossings to Larne in Northern Ireland. Pay & Display parking facility for long and short term is available near the ferry terminal.Troon port, on the west coast, can be reached via coastal A78 from the North. M77, which becomes A77 on reaching Kilmarnock, connects the port to Glasgow in the north-east. The port is well signposted from A77.
Western Scottish operates the local buses in Troon. National Express operates a coach service to Glasgow and Ayr.
Troon Railway Station is about 1.6 miles from the ferry terminal. First Scotrail connects the port to Glasgow Paisley, Newcastle, Girvan, Stranraer, Kilmarnock and Ayr.
