Cairnryan
P & O Irish Sea Ferries offer excellent port facilities and services at the passenger and freight terminal. The ferry company offers daily passenger ferry crossings to Larne in Northern Ireland, both fast and conventional.
A77 runs along the coast towards north, becoming M77 near Glasgow. It offers easy connectivity to Cairnryan from the north of Scotland. Stranraer port is just about 5 miles south of Cairnryan. A75/ A74/ M6 offer connectivity to the South, via Carlisle.
Western Scottish and National Express are the local bus and coach operators linking the port to Portpatrick, Stranraer, Ayr and Glasgow.
Stranraer Railway Station is the nearest rail station from Cairnryan port, at about 6 miles. It is serviced by First Scotrail rail operator.
