London Art Fair
London Art Fair is an annual event which showcases Modern British and international contemporary arts' exhibits from austerely selected galleries. Conceived in 1988, the fair now attracts about 24,000 visitors each year. The London Art Fair serves as a forum for the participating galleries to strengthen relationships with existing clients and build up prospects for the coming year. The fair is visited by serious art collectors, representatives from public and private institutions as well as knowledgeable individuals who are interested to invest in arts.
London Art Fair has two interesting sections whereby the artists can express themselves:
Art Projects: It is a subsidised section at the fair which enables contemporary artists and galleries to promulgate themselves by presenting the most interesting and challenging art to potential new buyers, art collectors, critics and the general public.
Photo 50: untitled tales: A thought provoking segment, wherein the highlight is the open-ended nature of photography as a means of storytelling through a series of still images suggestive of an ambiguous story.
