The week-long annual fair is being organised since 1934. Grosvenor House Art & Antiques Fair is widely acknowledged as one of the top four art and antiques fairs in the world. The 2008 edition had an event with a cause, the Charity Gala Evening, organised in support of the International Fundraising Committee of the British Red Cross, which was adorned by celebrities like Liza Minnelli, Liz Hurley and Elle Macpherson.
Adding regal tone to the occasion is the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra and by the opening of the fair frequently attended by members of The Royal Family.
