| Description | Paul Turner, Swindon-born Founder and Artistic Director of Swindon Recital Series, is to give a piano recital at Christ Church on Wednesday June 14th, 1.05 â€" 2pm. He will play gentle, less dramatic pieces to create a relaxing atmosphere. Paul says ‘I would like there to be no applause until the end of the concert so that I can take the audience on a journey with pieces related only by mood and key. I’m hoping this approach would be much more interesting for an audience if they don’t know what to expect, rather like turning on the radio and simply enjoying whatever comes next. Leave your preconceptions at the door and simply enjoy the music.’ Entry will cost £5, cash on the door. Seating will be distanced at 2 metres, allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Hand sanitiser will be available and contact details will be required. Face coverings will be required indoors (with the usual medical exemptions) and 2 metres social distancing should be observed when moving around. |
