Born in 1940, Warwick went on to become of the most celebrated adult contemporary singers (and outright singers) in the world, seconded only by Aretha Franklin as the all-time most charted female singer. Making hits out of tracks penned by noted writers Hal David and Burt Bacharach, Warwick boasts a much celebrated discography featuring 37 studio albums, while her trophy cabinet is rather packed too - she's even the proud owner of five Grammy Awards.
