| Description | If you have ever wondered 'are there any community choirs near me?' then the answer is firmly yes! The local Southampton choir is run by vocal teacher Chris Mutch-Jones. People who have already joined the choir, who hail from Southampton and further afield in Hampshire often have never sung before or had any vocal tuition. Once you join the choir you will find you learn the songs by rote from a brilliant set of resources and you will be amazed how quickly you go from 'not sure' to 'performance ready'. The songs are uniquely arranged to make songs easy to sing yet still challenge you in places. Just like a gym class or amateur dramatic society, your choir session provides an escape from everyday life. For over an hour, once a week, your time is completely your own, to do nothing but sing your heart out with our trailblazing formula of fun, friendship and feel-good music.
