Belfast lies about 8 miles down south via M2. Newtownabbey is ideally located for travelling within Northern Ireland, with M2 and A6 running towards Londonderry and the Causeway Coast in the north-west. The ferry services Norfolkline and Stenaline operate from the Port of Belfast to Stranraer, Heysham and Liverpool. P&O Ferries and Stena Line are the operators which offer daily crossings to Cairnyan, Troon and Fleetwood.
